I recently went for a colonoscopy and was detected with one 6mm polyp in descending colon and 2 dimunative in ascending colon. All off these polyps have been removed .
I am very much concerned as it has been sent for histology check .
I had polyps in the past around 6 years back , they too were removed and results were adenomatous polyp with no signs of malignancy.
Not sure how to proceed ahead as I am waiting for the reports .

Recurrent polyps may be familial or an isolated incident. Dont stress over histology reports. Consult after you receive the reports. Take fibre rich diet and healthy lifestyle.
You don't have to proceed ahead . Your only job is to trust your Gastroenterologist .
No advice on the subject can be given unless we have the histopathology report.
Thank you for sharing your concerns. Given your history of adenomatous polyps, it's understandable to feel anxious while awaiting histopathology results. Generally, adenomatous polyps are considered pre-cancerous, but many do not progress to malignancy, especially when detected early and removed, as in your case. The size and type of polyps, as well as the absence of previous malignancy, are reassuring factors, but histopathology will provide a clear answer.
In the meantime, it’s essential to maintain a healthy lifestyle, including a balanced diet high in fiber, regular exercise, and avoiding tobacco and excessive alcohol, as these factors can influence colorectal health.
If you would like a more in-depth evaluation or have further questions about your results, feel free to consult me directly. You can also reach out via WhatsApp at eight-zero-zero-nine-eight-two-one-three-three-two for a more personalized discussion and to plan any follow-up steps accordingly.
As your previous reports showed no signs of malignancy, and the current sample has been sent for histopathology and reports have been awaited, don't stress yourself too much.
Whatever may be the report you will get the best medical care.
Next Steps
Don't stress yourself too much, have a healthy balanced diet, sleep well and wait for the report and always have a positive attitude towards anything.
