Hi doctors,
Recently my mother has undergone a PNS CT scan and the impression written in the report is " Sphenoidal and left posterior ethmoidal sinusitis possibly infective etiology " . Could you please tell me what the impression actually means ? And is it something very serious ? I am very tense Please help 🙏

The impression has to be correlated clinically. It means that your mother's signs and symptoms elicited by your ENT Surgeon matched the radiological signs, then your ENT Surgeon will advise you the appropriate treatment.
Next Steps
Go back to the Doctor who referred you to get the scan done and seek the explanation you desire.
