Pneumonia patient
My mother has been discharged from the hospital after being diagnosed with pneumonia. She was in there for 6 days. Chest congestion is not entirely clear. What should we do? What things she should keep in mind and how will the pneumonia be cured completely ?

Pneumonia can be cured with antibiotics . Having said that , the cough could continue for sometime until it completely settles . What exactly is the extent of pneumonia ? What antibiotics did she receive ? Any breathlessness issues ? All these details are required to able to tell in detail. You could consider for a consult for detailed discussion so that I could see all the reports and discuss action plan and further course
