I am positive in tuberculosis montex test.Do i still need to thorecsentosis to relief my pain or should i start medication.Will it dry my pleuritic fluid.

Montoux test is not confirmatory of tb,need further evaluation  for confirmation of tb by pleural fluid tapping and analysis

montoux is not diagnostic test.. definitely go for thoracocentesis and then start treatment! take care
