Hello doc, My son was diagnosed with adenotonsillar hypertrophy. Recently he has gone throgh surgery But he is still suffering from lot of cough..kindly suggest possible diagnosis.

Any irritation to the throat part can stimulate cough. Even post surgery if he was given general anesthesia also can indice cough for 2-3 weeks. Suggest to do an xray to rule out whether its lung or upper airway related
