According to symptoms and reports Mr.Asharam is Dengue positive and old age is one of risk factor so strict vigilance to symptoms is required Rx- •Drink plenty of fluid (4-5L/day) and Can take ORS also (1 sachet in 1L of warm water) • it not drinking water adequately then IV fluids and hospitalization is required • Take Dolo 650 3/4 times days and Temp measurements every 4-5 hourly •Cold sponging Look for Sugar and BP if having any co-morbidities (if present hospitalization is good option even if seems everything good as to prevent occurance of any complications)
Next Steps
Repeat CBC every alternative day and if not admitted look for any warning signs like abdominal pain, vomiting, bleeding strictly as it requires hospitalization to prevent further complications
