Hello attatching my cbc report. The RDW is increased and showing 16 percent. The report also states anisocytosis. But Hb is normal. Does this mean i have iron deficiency anemia. Wanted to know if the cbc is anything to be worried about or it is normal?

As an oncologist I don’t have anything to get alarmed.
As general advise I can say first consider repeating your blood peripheral smear - if this persist - considering most common cause iron deficiency your Iron profile should be checked with associated work up for essential vitamins .
However, anisocytosis can also occur in the absence of anemia, seen in some medical conditions such as liver disease, hypothyroidism, and some autoimmune disorders. So consult a general physician or a haematologist for further advice .
