CML - cbc report
The report of cbc of my father before and after taking Dastinib for 1 week is attached alongwith. Although tlc has reduced a lot but platelets has also reduced a lot more and rdw has increased. Now doctor has advised to conduct next cbc after 15 days. But I am worried in next cbc reduced platelets will fall below normal range. Is it possible that Dastinib can reduce the platelets below normal range in next cbc which is to be conducted after 15 days? If so what to do?

Hi although platelets have decreased , they are within normal range. U need not worry unless it falls below 80 k. RDW also can increase when there is increase in cell turnover
