I know a lot of ways in which cancer can be detected in humans. But, why is it that for all kinds of cancer diagnosis, the doctor first ask for a CBC Test? Is there any relation between CBC Tests and cancer? How can one detect cancer through CBC Tests?

CBC is Complete Blood Count and generally done to diagnose or monitor Hb, WBC counts or Platelet counts which increase or reduce in various conditions like infections/ blood loss/ certain treatments etc.
Rarely it also is abnormal in certain blood cancers.
However please specifically ask your doctor why they are asking for CBC
