Platelet count is 476
Hi, my platelet count is increasing. Every time when I take blood test my platelet count is highlighted. In Aug 2020 - my platelet count is 370 In Feb 2021 - my platelet count is 409 In April 2021 - my platelet count is 420 In Oct 2021- my platelet count is 476 Can anyone please tell me, is this normal or not.. A normal platelet count ranges from 150,000 to 450,000 platelets per microliter of blood. Having more than 450,000 platelets is a condition called thrombocytosis.  We need to interpret the platelet count it in conjunction with the the peripheral blood smear and the total WBC and RBC count.
