Hi I have got tartar and plague on my teeth and I'm thinking to go for scaling are there any disadvantages or are there any other methods for removal of plague? please help me out.

no.brushjng regularly will get rid of the plaque, but the calculus requires professional help for removal. only disadvantage would be there would be some mild sensitivity in teeth for a few days. hope this answers your question
