Placenta posterior low lying at 36 weeks
Hello, I am 36 weeks nd 4 days pregnant. Last scan I got to know that I have placenta posterior low lying at 2.7 cm frm os. Maturity is grade 3. I am really worried as doc said will not take risk nd do the operation. And the baby weight is 2.4+- 400gms. Currently facing issue in walking also nd sometimes felt sharp pain at the center of lower abdomen. Please suggest something as i m really tensed. I already have a son of age 6 yrs which was a normal delivery. Thanks.

You are only  36 weeks and 4 days.  Still  25 days to go. Your placenta is  2.7  cm from os . It can't go closer. Your baby weight is only  2.4 kg. You are  35 years old.  This point is certainly against you  especially if it is your first pregnancy. You can discuss with your doctor keeping aĺl these things in mind.  A Caesarean is a distinct possibility.
