Pityriasis alba
I consulted a doctor online for my uneven skin tone and pimples. He prescribed me tretinoin cream. After using it for a month I saw that my lighter uneven skin was becoming even more lighter than the surrounding skin. I consulted another doctor and he told me to stop using tretinoin cream as it was causing dryness. So am I allergic to tretinoin cream? In the past I was prescribed vitamin A pills for my pimples but that didn't cause any pityriasis alba and my skin was very clear. Then what triggered my pityriasis alba although my skin was exposed to vitamin A dryness before?

Pityriasis alba often coexists with dry skin and atopic dermatitis.May present following sun exposure, because tanning of surrounding skin makes affected areas more prominent. Low levels of serum copper or due to Malassezia yeasts . Share pictures and consult online for treatment .
