My daughter have few white spots on face which are increasing in size for the same i consulted my pediatrician he said it's fungal infection and adviced a anti fungal cream for 15 days. After applying it for 15 days i noticed cream doesn't responds on spots.
So today i visited dermatologist he said it's pityriasis alba and prescribed following medicines :
Telenorm oil mixed with equal amount of cocunut oil in morning with 15mins of sun exposure.
Flutivate e cream in night.(fluticasone cream IP)
And shampoo, moisturizer nd soap.
I just wanna ask is this proper treatment for alba or i should consult some other dermatologist?

IF... only IF.. it is pityriasis alba, then the treatment is fine. but for a baby rather than Flutivate I would advise Dosetil cream (containing Desonide) because the patient is a baby. rest things you can continue. hope this is helpful .
