Physical examination
Hi, I would like to undergo a general examination of my penis and scrotum. Could you please let me know if a General Physician, Homeopathy, or Ayurveda doctor can perform this examination? I would prefer to consult a female doctor only. Kindly confirm if this can be arranged. I am looking for a consultation in Bangalore. Thank you.

For a general physical examination of the penis and scrotum, the most appropriate specialist is a Urologist, who specializes in the male reproductive and urinary system. A General Physician (MBBS) can also perform a basic examination for common concerns. Both are fully qualified for this. Homeopathy and Ayurveda practitioners can also examine patients as part of their training, but for any specific concern about that area, a Urologist or Dermatologist (if skin-related) at a mainstream hospital is the most thorough option. Regarding your preference for a female doctor — this is completely valid and is a reasonable request. When you call or visit a hospital or clinic in Bangalore, you can specifically ask for a female urologist or female general physician at the time of booking your appointment, and most larger hospitals can accommodate this.
Next Steps
Book an in-person appointment with a Urologist (or GP) at a reputable hospital in Bangalore, and mention at the time of booking that you prefer a female doctor. This examination must be done in person — it cannot be done online. Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation.
