Petril beta as a long term anxiety treat
I have been prescribed petril beta 10 (1-0-1)for my anxiety . Is it safe to take this tablet regularly and for a long time.
If not ,is there other medication for anxiety other than SSRI ,cz I have tried escitalopram and paroxetine both seem to have sedating effect on me.

Yes, it is relatively safe, but has its share of side effects
Medications are effective, but for long term learn relaxation techniques and take counselling sessions, CBT etc

How many days did you take the medicine? What was the dosage? There are multiple options to manage the issues at hand. Ssri like escitalopram / paroxetine are essential in treatment of anxiety. There are other options as well. Consult a psychiatrist or follow up with your psychiatrist.

Yeah there are several other options for anxiety which can be taken for long term and for a proper relief from anxiety. As taking petril beta for long doesn’t seem appropriate.
