If you are having heavy periods after delivery, you need to consult your doctor. If you are breastfeeding, cycles will be irregular or absent. Make sure you are taking iron tablets after delivery

There is no such thing as getting heavy flow after delivery but it's not abnormal also... Sometimes this happens. But if it happens again and again with every passing cycle some basic investigations might be needed. Since this has happened for the 1st time , we can wait to see subsequent cycles.

Get ultrasound done if not done before taking medicines If heavy flow continues in subsequent cycles then it should be investigated

Some times it happens as your body adjusts to the hormonal changes after delivery. Need information on flow, no of pads, and how many months of amenorrhea preceding that,if repeats or still persists ,  I would advice you to set a  video consultation and can guide you accordingly.
