Hi there...I can understand your concern. The chances of you getting any sexually transmitted disease (including hiv) is the same whether you have intercourse during or after her periods. So better to always use barrier protection methods like condoms. They reduce the risk of transmission of stds. But Be careful about condom breakage and slipping.
