Period on Hormonal IUD
I had a hormonal IUD (Skyla) inserted about 6 months ago. I did not have my period for the first 5 months after insertion, but recently I have began to have regular (lighter) periods again. Is my hormonal IUD still preventing pregnancy effectively, or is this a sign that something is wrong? I checked to see if I could feel the strings, and they are indeed still in place.
