Perimenopause
I was having symptoms of perimenopause. I had extended periods for 8 days with normal flow. It was followed by spotting for 5 days. Then again my periods came for 6 days. I did my scan on 7th day of second perion and my endometrium thickness was 7 mm. Doctorgave me progesterone for 15 days. After stopping it my periods came. But the bleeding is significantly reduced. What might be reason

You should have had a physical examination, including a speculum examination when you were given progesterone for endometrial thickness. You can go for a speculum examination and pap smear even now.
