I am 49 years old and currently going through perimenopause. My periods were regular until March 2026. After that, I did not have my period for several months. Then, I had some light spotting in June 2026 and now I had spotting again on September 11, which lasted for only one day.
Is this normal during perimenopause? Please advise. Last ultra sound was ok jo 6 months pahle hua tha

Irregular spotting like this is common in perimenopause, especially with the hormone swings before periods stop for good.
Next Steps
Since your last scan was about six months ago, please book a fresh pelvic ultrasound and check-up. Spotting after a long gap is worth confirming in person, even when it's brief.
