Perforated ear drum
I am having perforated eardrum without any discharge, what are the chances of its healing on own . Pls help . How do you come to know it's healing

Healing depends upon the duration, size of perforation, cause of perforation ( traumatic or discharge ) , whether associated with pain

If it's  small and short duration then there is chance of spontaneous healing. Do not let water to go for inside the ear.

It may heal spontaneously if it is small and occuring recently,within 3 months duration.If it is longer,chances are it will never heal in its own and may require surgery.
