Hello doctor
In private pcv vaccine is given in 1.5 month, 2.5 month and 3.5 month
And in govt pcv vaccine is given in 1.5 month, 3.5 month and 9th month
What will be better to follow? Can i go as per govt?

You can give it to the government set up - but 3rd dose to be given at 3.5 months at a private ( same vaccine available).
1.5 year booster is also recommended

In govt, 2+1 schedule (2primary dose and 1 booster at 9 months) of PCV 10(10 strains of pneumococcus covered) is followed
IAP recommends 3 + 1 schedule ( booster given between 12 to 15 months) as this is the most studied and established schedule for the vaccine. In private you also get pcv 13 and 14 which cover more strains. Pcv 20 is also due to release by next year in India
If cost is not a factor, you can go for pvt
