Planned diet includes plenty of vegetables, fruits and greengram sprouts in every meal. Drink enough water . Substitute millets for rice/ wheat. Milk and milk products are recommended for better nourishment. Walking, exercise, yoga, playing sports are the best activities to be practiced everyday for two hrs . Yes it’s best to control PCOD through proper diet and exercise and make a lifestyle change.Yes dairy should be avoided , and avoid sugar and sweets completely. If overweight, it’s best to lose weight through a healthy balanced diet and avoid any crash dieting. Exercise /walk or any physical activity is must...as overweight and PCOD is a vicious cycle. Most important is to drink 4-5 litre of water.
