Pcod and endometrium
My friend has thicker endometrium lining according to the abdomen scan but the doctor said range vary depending on age and time of the month she also has pcos So I need to know what is the difference and is it interconnected? which needs to be treated on priority and can the treatment for one help another?

The metal thickness does not vary with age But yes it varies with the time  at which of was checked in  the menstrual cycle Before periods the  thickness is more After periods it will be less as lining is shed Treatment will depend upon the symptoms Age of the patient Measurement of endometrial thickness What exactly is the age of your friend What are her symptoms What is the exact measurement of the endometrial thickness Which day in the cycle was it measured

Yes. Thickness of endometrium varies according to age and day of cycle. Doing a transvaginal scan is ideal to measure thickness of endometrium. Thickness can be more in early pregnancy also. Consult for further answers
