This looks more of seborrheic dermatitis. Do not scratch the white flakes when dry. Apply coconut oil before shampoo and gently brush the scalp with soft bristles or immediately after hair wash.shampoo thrice a weekly and donor leave oil on scalp for longer time.

Greetings The white patches and flaking on your son's scalp are commonly caused by seborrheic dermatitis, dandruff, or a localized fungal condition. The absence of hair loss and irritation is a reassuring sign, indicating that the underlying skin is currently not deeply inflamed. Please avoid scratching or picking at the dry scales, as breaking the protective skin barrier can introduce a secondary bacterial infection. To manage the flakes safely, you can apply a gentle emollient like mineral oil to soften the patches before washing his hair. Gently cleanse the area with a mild baby shampoo like Cetaphil baby shampoo or spoo baby shampoo
