My hubby has pain in the ear , consulted doctor after x-ray she suspected parotid gland Could u plz tell me is it dangerous

Parotid gland is a normal organ which is required for producing saliva. Usually x rays can't diagnose any parotid gland disorders except for stone in the parotid duct. I request you to ask more Details to your doctor regarding what type of parotid problem your husband is having
