Since your symptoms returned after stopping medication it would be important to continue follow-up with your psychiatrist while also considering therapy for additional support
Next Steps
Recovery often involves a combination of medication and psychotherapy rather than one alone

Hi, Here's a brief response: Since you've experienced paranoid delusions, panic attacks, and your symptoms returned after stopping medication, it's important to continue following your psychiatrist's advice. Counseling can be very helpful alongside medication, and practices like meditation may support your overall well-being, but they should not replace your prescribed treatment unless your doctor recommends it.

Thank you for sharing your concern. Since you’ve experienced paranoid delusions and your symptoms returned after stopping medication, I would not recommend discontinuing medication or relying on counselling alone without your psychiatrist’s guidance. The most effective approach is often a combination of psychiatric treatment and psychotherapy. Counselling can help you understand triggers, manage anxiety, improve coping skills, and reduce distress, but it works best alongside the treatment plan advised by your psychiatrist.
Next Steps
Please continue your follow-ups with your psychiatrist and consider starting therapy with a psychologist/counsellor if you haven’t already. With consistent treatment and support, many people experience significant improvement. Wishing you strength and good health.
