Pap smear test
Hello doctor i am 30 years female I am given yesterday pap smear test but along with that human papilloma virus antibody (hpv) why this test also required along with that let me no and after am giving these test next day am getting my periods let me know it's anything impact on my test report pls .

Both the test are required to predict any risk of infection with HPV and chances of cervical cancer in the future. If you have done both the test then you can repeat it after 5years duration

To help  understand what is the type of HPV strain that you are affected with if any There are two types of HPV high risk n low risk Getting your periods the next day is not going to impact the report of the test

No impact of period on test report. HPV  infection is also tested in pap smear .

Both test together increase chances of abnormality detection if found. No periods will not impact ur report if getting after the test
