Painkiller injection
Hello doctor some 4 days back doctor puts me painkiller injection in my back.. Today only I m noticing I can feel that swelling inside  that area where exactly painkiller was injected.. Will it reduce automatically or do I need to do anything on that area like applying cold or warm compression Pls enlighten me regarding this no pain nothing but accidentally when I touched the part I can feel the swelling inside.

Dear pt Swelling around the injection site (IM )can be Seroma due to IM injection
Next Steps
cold compresses for few days on and around the swelled area if the swelling doesn't subside in 2 to 3 days will need antibiotic and anti inflammatory cover
