Hi. I understand your concern. Do a online consult for a detailed analysis of your symptoms and to suggest you further management plan and treatment prescription for the same
Enlarged bilateral hilar projection is possible when chest radiograph is taken in expiration due to increased venous return to heart which happens during expiration
However if her symptoms, signs are suggestive of bronchial asthma don't take radiological picture into consideration! Asthma is a clinical diagnosis supported by spirometry
Next Steps
- detailed history
- may require spirometry if symptoms fit into asthma
- if she perceives her own breathing effort as uncomfortable, not able to finish sentences, may require emergency evaluation
Health Tips
- Do vaccinate against pneumococcal(strain depends on age) , influenza (quadrivalent) along with usual treatment measures
It looks like Asthmatic bronchitis. Pl take inhalers, and nebulisations. Take antihistamines. Pl consult Pulmonologist online with all the reports and treatment taken.
