I get pain while bending knees or while climbing down or up on the stairs.
I have routine of going gym. Sometimes I feel cracking noise in knees.
I used to take thyroid medicines before, but stopped it 5 months before.
Please advise on the same.

Sounds like a patellar maltracking or patello femoral arthritis or cmp. ... You need to visit an orthopaedic consultant for further evaluation, following some x Ray and medication visit a physiotherapist near your area and perform exercises prescribed by a physio regularly
Knee pain in young ladies are usually patello femoral which causes pain while climbing up or coming down the stairs. Exercises under the guidance of physiotherapist and some medication will help you , quad, hams strengthening & stretching will help you a lot
