Care AI Shimmer
The chronic nature of the pain (5 years) and its recurrence with activities like lifting, writing, and exercising suggests a possible musculoskeletal or neurological origin. Differential diagnoses include rotator cuff pathology, cervical radiculopathy, thoracic outlet syndrome, or myofascial pain syndrome. A detailed clinical evaluation is essential.
Next Steps
- Consult an orthopedic or spine specialist.
Health Tips
- Avoid self-medication. - Do not perform strenuous upper limb activities until a diagnosis is made. - Early diagnosis and targeted treatment can prevent further complications or chronic disability.
