Sir we need full history of pain to suggest whether surgery is needed, there are many problems that can also treated without surgery so if you are not satisfied with your Ortho surgeon better consult a Physiotherapist who can guide you , Thank you

Hello, I went through your query, there are several diseases of hip joint that can be treated medical and some diseases which needs hip replacement. Since you have not given any information on the problem you are suffering and not shared the diagnosis made by your doctor we can't tell you what is needed, if you are not satisfied with your doctor's advice please take a second opinion.
