  4. Pain &swelling; on rt knee. A surgery?

Pain &swelling on rt knee
I have been having pain on rt knee since 1 year. I am continuing my physiotherapy last 1 month.still no difference. MRI report shows miniscus old injury& partial tear on acl. Doctor told me to undergo surgical management. Is i need a surgery?
