Hello. Has she had previous history of trauma to chest? Is there an underlying lung/mediastinal problem instead of a bony one? Frequent history of chest infections? Chest wall pain can have many causes. Vit D & calcium deficiency can also cause rib pain. This needs proper history & examination, then focussed investigations to find the cause.
Next Steps
Please consult an orthopaedic surgeon.
