Pain on side of left knee
Bumped side of knee into edge of wooden bed about 10 days ago, which presumably hit the bone. Can identify the point of pain on bone on inner side of left knee. Typically aches during movement from rested positions - standing after sitting, sitting after standing, bending knee, etc. Worried because the pain hasn't subsided in 10 days even after local application of pain relief gel. Please advise

Its called chondromalacia patellae, cartilage under knee cap is worn out. Visit an ortho surgeon for x Ray or MRI
