Pain inside upper left jaw
It's been 6 months since I have pain I my left jaw. In the month of December, my impacted wisdom tooth were removed. Initially i had pain in upper and lower jaw but after removal lower jaw pain has subsided but upper jaw pain is still there. The pain is generally inside the jaw towards the left side beside where the teeth was removed. Is it a tmd issue ? If yes whom should I consult?

Greetings The pain after extraction of impacted wisdom teeth could be because of many reasons. To name a few:- 1. Broken tooth/root fragment inside the jaw 2. Fractured bone piece near around the socket etc My advice would be to consult a dentist for the same. They might run few diagnostic xrays to confirm the reason for the persistent pain.
Next Steps
Visit a dentist, preferably an Oral Surgeon
Health Tips
Do not keep taking pain killers on your own.

Pain may be occur due to nerve compression after extraction or  may be due fractured bone around the socket. You should consult a dentist. He/she will do xray and will decide what to do.
