Pain in the surgical area
I have done arthoscopy meniscus repair..my meniscus was stiched..its been 70 days...I have an lower back pain due to bed rest and pain in spinal area on the anestic region.so i did knee to chest strecth exercise..but while doing that while doing for the right leg which is operated i feel pain while lightly pressing and bringing down to test..i am doing smoothly even it pains and it feels like some stretching feeling in the surgical area..is that pain Normal..even after 70 days its paining and buring sensation inside..my mind is confusing a lot...whether the stitch of mensicus will be strong while doing my knee to chest stretch exercise.. kindly give an consult

Hello, thank you for your question. Meniscus repair requires a proper rehabilitation plan which can extend upto 6 months. It's been just 2 months. You need to take things lighlty and do not put extreme pressures on your repaired meniscus.
Next Steps
Take some anti-inflammatory medications and do hot water fomentation.

Hi it might be that menisci hasnt healed properly. You should avoid bending knee unnecessarily. Also if ligament is not properly healed then recovery will be slow. Take care

Your symptoms are complex one reasons could be many right from infection, non healing of meniscus, cartilage injury to Reflex symptomatic dystrophy. Thorough physical examination and check up is important. If needed repeat MRI of knee would be suggested.
