I would advise you to go to the ER and assess your situation and you should undergo investigations such as a chest X-Ray to rule out any underlying problems. These following lifestyle changes may help in your situation: - Don't skip meals and don't crash diet - Reduce/ Avoid spicy, fried, fatty, junk and oily food - Exercise regularly and maintain a healthy weight as per your BMI - Increase daily intake of water to 3 liters - Avoid/Stop smoking and drinking if you have the habit - Reduce stress through methods such as yoga/meditation. - Avoid painkillers as it will increase your gastric problems at this moment. - Limit drinking coffee, tea and carbonated drinks to once or twice a day If the condition is persistent or worsening kindly visit the nearesr ER
