Hello, I am Dr. Romain Rajan, General Physician (Ex Govt Medical Officer at RML Hospital, New Delhi), and your case has been allotted to me. Thank you for sharing your symptoms. I understand that persistent lower abdominal pain despite taking medicines can be quite uncomfortable and concerning. Based on what you have described, pain that increases on movement and is not relieved by Drotin, Mefthal Spas, or Combiflam suggests that this may not be just simple spasmodic pain, and needs proper evaluation. Possible causes • Gynecological causes such as ovarian cyst, ovulation pain, or pelvic inflammation • Appendix related pain (especially if on right side and increasing) • Urinary infection or stone • Muscle or ligament strain in lower abdomen • Intestinal causes like colitis or gas related pain What you should do now • Avoid further self medication • Take rest and avoid unnecessary movement • Apply warm compress over lower abdomen • Stay hydrated Very important next step 👉 You should get evaluation done, preferably: • Ultrasound abdomen and pelvis • Urine test And consult a: 👉 Gynecologist (if female) or Physician When to consult urgently • Pain becomes severe or continuous • Fever, vomiting, or nausea • Pain localizes to right lower abdomen • Difficulty in passing urine • Fainting or weakness Important note Since pain is not responding to medicines, it should not be ignored. Early evaluation helps prevent complications. For personalised one to one consultation and guidance, you can reach out to me on WhatsApp at 85271646 seven seven. Wishing you quick relief. Dr. Romain Rajan General Physician
