I have pain in left side of throat and a small swelling in left in side.
Its been a while now it burns at times and hurt the inside part.

You need examination for swelling over neck atleast. So better just consult and find the solution
As pain and burning is fine but you are telling swelling..for that atleast visual confirmation is needed to manage it better
