Pain in left stomach
My wife is having pain in left side of stomach from last 2-3 days..pain is only when pressed and while changing position..no pain while standing and sleeping..pls suggest on this..no other problem is there...but she has gas problem frequently.

Left sided pain is usually due to colitis. Take healthy and high fibre diet ,

It seems, she has pain in lower part of stomach on left side, called Left Illiac Fossa. If so, it represents Colon region. The most common cause for such pain on pressing is Amoebic Colitis. However, to ascertain the diagnosis, Abdominal examination is a must.
