Pain in left knee at sides.
I have pain in my left knee since from last year when I go down hill while trekking.
There is no pain when I walk on plain surface but sometimes there is popping sound come out it when it twist.
This all started when I have done a Marathon trek last mansoon.

This is chondromalacia patallae.
Treatment is
Strengthening your quadriceps muscles till it attains the bulk of your opposite side knee
Cycling
No knee cap
No sitting for more than 30 min
