I underwent Arthroscopy for medial meniscus tear of 3rd grade. 3 months passed, pain in knee is severe. I did physiotherapy exercises.
My doctor advised me not to climb stairs, kneel, stand etc.
I am a teacher by profession.
4 days passed the pain is unbearable in the same knee, especially at night & my sleep is interrupted. So now I am doing ultrasound physiotherapy
Please help me to come out of it.

In a 50 years old there might be a component of arthritis with medial meniscus tear. Meniscus tear pain might have reduced but the arthritis pain may still persist which will need good exercises. But still best treatment will depend on your clinical symptoms and x-ray picture
