Pain in gluteal area both side
I was given injections some by IV and some in gluteal area 10 days back. Pain in gluteal area both side since 2 days Fever started today and also I am having my periods from today amd facing a lot of weakness. I am taking one pain killer( Trypsin-chymotrypsin) and paracetamol from today. What should I do as a next step?

Hi, it could be gluteal abscess( that means there is pus accumulation in the area where you were given injection, due to infection) And the best treatment for it is that the pus should be evacuated.
Next Steps
It should be physically examined, try contacting a nearby hospital for availability of general surgeon. Until then paracetamol and cold compressions can help in reducing pain but this two measures are not effective in clearing the pus.

For fever take paracetamol and take plenty of water. Use ice pack in gluteal region.
