Pain in foot
Today, I experienced a minor slip in which I hurt my foot. Now the area over cuboid has swelled with excessive pain. Please suggest some pain reliever and also suggest is it sprain or fracture? Attached a picture for reference. Thanks in advance.

It seems to be Jones  fracture. Get a xray of the affected part-ie foot. Further treatment will be there after.

Get an X-ray of the affected foot AP and oblique views to rule out fracture. Sprains and fracture look almost the same immediately after injury.
Next Steps
Take Tab Signoflam twice a day after food for 3 days. Apply Ice pack over the affected area. Apply pain relief spray. Keep the affected leg up over pillows while lying down and over a footstool while sitting. Do not put weight on the affected foot. Apply a crepe bandage over the foot and ankle. Video consult with me with the X-ray films to decide further course of action.
