Pain in foot soles
Hi i am having acute pain in my foot soles for last few weeks and not been able to walk properly. I am massaging my foot soles with an Ayurvedic oil on daily basis but that is giving a very temp. relief...now the pain/inflammation is becoming unbearable. Can you please suggest to whom shall i consult...is it an orthopaedic problem?

If the pain is under the heel and aggravates in the morning after waking up, then you are suffering from plantar fascitis. If so, then you have to modify your shoe, do some exercises and take some medicines. There are some other causes of sole pain too as peripheral neuropathy, metatarsalgia etc. Consult a nearby Physical Medicine specialist ( MD Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) for proper diagnosis and treatment.
