Constant pain in the ear since morning,had slight cough and cold and while cleaning my nose in the morning there was an instant pain in the ear

It could be "acute otitis media" . You need to consult with a good ENT surgeon and start on a course of antibiotics and decongestants. Don't put ear drops and keep ear dry.
