Ear pain, mainly when burping
My right ear has been aching since morning. Especially when I burp, there is a sharp pain that is present only through the duration of the burp. I use earphones for long hours, everyday. Is it because of that? Or could it be something else?

Earphone use may be an aggravating factor so better avoid it. Pain is possibly due to ear drum inflammation, no treatment is usually recommended in such cases initially as mostly it resolves by itself. However if problem remains for Long say for more than 10 days then visit an ENT doctor.

You could have Eustachian Tube Catarhh(ETC). Especially if you recently had an episode of cold. Please consult ENT physically. You might require treatment for ETC— Nasal Spray Flomist 2 puffs twice a day for 10 days, Tab Lukotas HD one tablet at night after food for 5 days. You can take analgesics like paracetamol if the pain is severe. If there is no h/o or current nasal stuffiness or cold, do Guarded Valsalva Manoeuvre( you can find out on YouTube) regularly for 10 days. Avoid using earphone for long durations at a stretch. Give a gap of 5-10mins after every hour.

This is related to your eustachian tube dysfunction, because eustachian tube is a connection between nasopharynx and middle ear, so if it's blocked then you may feel the ear pain. Another point is Please don't use Ear phones for prolonged periods as it is harmful for your hearing in longer run.
Next Steps
Treatment:- Tab Solvin OD 1-0-1 7 days. Valsalva Maneuver Atleast 10-15 times a day. (There should be no active Common Cold if you are doing this exercise)
Health Tips
Lessen your usage of speakers,Headphones.
